About Me
Hello, and welcome to my ePortfolio. My name is Marisol Soto, and I am currently a student at Stanislaus State University, working toward my educational and career goals. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to music, watching movies, traveling, and learning new things. I value hard work, responsibility, and personal growth, and I try to apply those values to both my academic and professional life.
Work
Over the past several years, I have gained valuable customer service experience through jobs in fast-paced environments. I worked for two years at McDonald’s and two years as a waitress in a restaurant, where I'm currently working. These experiences helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Working in customer service taught me how to stay organized, communicate respectfully with customers, and handle stressful situations professionally. I also learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and maintaining a positive attitude while working with different types of people.
Improvement
I enjoy finding ways to improve myself and continue learning. I believe education is important because it opens opportunities and helps people build confidence in their abilities. This business communication course helped me become more comfortable with professional writing and workplace communication.
This ePortfolio reflects not only the assignments I completed during the semester but also the effort and growth I achieved as a student and future professional. I hope this website demonstrates my dedication, communication skills, and readiness for future opportunities.
